Hiding drives in your computer

Hi can anyone tell me how to hide a drive in my computer and I can only display that drive whenever i want to display it.

Before doing this it is prefer to have a backup of the database for the registry.

Sure I can help you need to follow few steps for hiding your drive:-

1. Click Start-->Run-->Regedit.
2. Now goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
3. Add a new DWORD value: Edit Menu> New> DWORD
   
4. Name the value as NoDrives and press Enter
   
5. Double-click on this value, check the decimal point, and prior the drive that you want to hide, bring one of the following fields in the Value data:
   
   
   • For drive A type 1, drive B type 2 ,Drive C type 4 .
   • To hide multiple drives, just to the data sum corresponding to each drive. To hide all drives, enter the value 134217727
   
   
6. Confirm the changes and restart your PC.

To restore your players, you have delete the value NoDrives or to assign no value to the data.
You can access your players by entering X in the address field of your browser or in the Run command.
