eVGA officially announces its GTX 260 GPU with 55-nm
There were the GeForce GTX 260 models with 216 processing units, it will now count on those chips, in addition, engraved in 55 nm against 65 nm previously.
eVGA comes as an official three versions of its new graphics card under the reference GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 - 55 nm.
They keep the cooling system of reference of previous generations and are distinguished from each other only by the frequency applied to the chip (and GPU processing units) and 896 MB of GDDR-3 board:
- Standard: 576 / 1242 / 999 MHz
- Superclocked: 626 / 1350 / 1053 MHz
- SSC: 675 / 1458 / 1152 MHz
The first two are already available on the U.S. store brand rates for $ 259.99 and $ 269.99, while the fastest is announced at $ 289.99, without specifying the date of placing on the market.
