I want to convert field to text in Word 2007?

I want to record macros for the date in my file .While I am recording , I want to select the date field and want it as to be converted to text field so that I won’t get updated.Early I was using in Office 2003 but I don’t know about Office 2007.Can anyone help me out with this issue I would really appreciate the person.

Sure i can help you with that u need to press Shift, crtl and F9.It very simple.
