GeForce GTX 280 vs GTX 285, but not much better?
The site ChipHell could get their hands on a document nVIDIA which highlights the performance of the new GeForce GTX 285 GPU compared to the current GTX 280. The graph in question shows us benchmarks in several games with the difference in performance between the two cards as a percentage. Everything was tested on a Core i7 in 2500x1600 resolution but despite this high the GTX 285 is not better than 10% faster than its predecessor. However, the GTX 285 should in theory be more expressive in overclocking thanks to its fine engraving which should enable it to heat a little less. Nevertheless, only the first tests will tell us more ...
