STOP: 0x000000A5
I can not use my computer any longer. As soon as I turn it on I get the blue screen which ends with:
STOP: 0x000000A5 (0x00000011, 0x00000004, 0x00000000, 0x000000)
I have the back up CD that came with the PC, but it doesn't do anything. I get the System Recovery screen, it runs through the dashes and then goes to start again but then restarts.
What is wrong with it and what can be done to fix it?

Re: STOP: 0x000000A5
The error that you are getting could occur if you add random access memory (RAM) to the computer while it is in hibernation. When the computer resumes from hibernation and loads the Hiberfil.sys file, Microsoft Windows detects the change in memory state, and then you receive the error message. To solve this issue, follow the method given here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/831691

Re: 0x000000A5
The error that you are getting tells you that you have to get the latest bios version. You will have to contact the vendor or visit their website and get a new bios. If you are not getting the latest bios then you can try to turn off ACPI mode during text mode setup and see if that works. To turn it off, press F7 when you are prompted to install storage drives.

Re: 0x000000A5
This problem can also happen if Windows has detected that the BIOS in the computer is not fully compliant with Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI). So, go to the below link to solve this issue:
