Assassin's Creed (PC) Crash during loading
I bought the PC version of Assassin's Creed, the installation takes place quickly and smoothly.
I start the game:
- Auto update Game
- Installation of the update
- Launch of the game
- The game carries a load
- About 60% loading hangs in the office and back without error.
After several tests, the resettlement of the game without the update, with ... nothing changes except that the loading blocks to different loading levels: 52%, 64% ...
The load never pass the 64% and I never managed to reach the menu of the game or even any video intro ..
My config:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750
Asus P5N-E-SLI
2X-GeForce 8800 GT
Hard-disk Hitachi 320 GB + another disc of 152 GB Maxtor.
2 GB DDR2 PC6400 800MHz G. Skill

XP or Vista?
And without SLI?

Do you have the latest nVidia drivers
Vista or XP? Updated with latest service pack and Windows update?
Is it that you tried disabling SLI?

I have Windows XP SP2 and the problem is recurring with or without SLI. By in effect against I have not tested with the latest Nvidia drivers, I do not!

No change with the latest drivers from Nvidia
