As we all know Apple Inc. is best-known for its hardware products including Macintosh computers, iPod portable media players, and the iPhone. Apple software includes the Mac OS X operating system and the iTunes media browser.

iPod

The iPod is the market leader in portable music players by a significant margin.

iPod Shuffle: digital audio player introduced in 2005, available in 1 and 2 GB models.
iPod Touch: portable media player introduced in September 2007, available in 8, 16 and 32 GB models.

iPhone

At the Macworld Conference & Expo in January 2007, Steve Jobs revealed the long anticipated iPhone, a convergence of an Internet-enabled smartphone and iPod.
