Delete user account

When I try to delete my user account the window will freeze and if I click on it then it will say it is not responding.
I have left it sitting for up to 4 hours and it never deletes my account.
I deleted my mom's account with no problem but it won't delete my side for some reason.
Help?

You mean you are deleting account from logging in same account? If so then you can't you, have to login as a administrator for this then you can delete limited account. If you are already doing it as a administrator then make sure that your limited account is not password protected.

Is this the last account you have now on your windows? Then I think windows will not delete the last account. It will require at least 1 account to operate itself.

Have you made your Administrator account to a Limited Account and trying to delete that, if I am correct then system will not allow this, you will have to have at least one account operating in your system, Just create another account with the Admin rights and then try to delete the Limited account, it will allows to delete another account.

Go to Start -> Run. Type "cmd.exe" in the dialog box and press return. In the
command prompt window type "sfc /purgecache" and press return.

Try deleting user after that.
