Nokia and Motorola in the Chinese market leader
"Nokia holds more than two thirds of the Chinese market. Adding the figure of Motorola two producers come to 90% of share "
The Chinese market is certainly one of the key points of the strategy of the various producers, especially given the already high numbers and potential for further growth. We're talking about a market where in the third quarter of 2008 were sold 7.47 million terminals.
In her masters from the sales of mobile phones in China are not the Asian brands, but two western giants, Nokia and Motorola, which have an aggregate share of almost 90%. Impressive, even in the graphical representation of the data Nokia, which has to sell more than two thirds of the phones purchased on Chinese soil.
Other producers chasing with higher selling a lot more limited: to third place, as reported DigiTimes according to data from CCID Consulting, Dopod is a trademark owned by HTC, with 4.7%. It must be emphasized that in a market with such a large number of pieces sold a share of 2.5%, such as Samsung, it means hundreds of thousands of units sold.
Of course, even the distribution of operating systems reflects the information on producers, with Symbian, which stands at 71% of the market, Linux for almost 20% and Microsoft Windows Mobile in third place with 8% share.
Re: Nokia and Motorola in the Chinese market leader

Re: Nokia and Motorola in the Chinese market leader
