Intel Core Quad Q6600 or AMD Phenom X3 8750 ?

Hi, i am confused between Intel ® Core Quad Q6600 or AMD Phenom X3 8750 ?
Configuration I am looking for is a reliable, powerful and who do not obsolete too quickly.
Knowing that I'm on an AMD 3200 + for over 3 years and that I can run the latest games without any worries and I'm doing very well.
But to be honest, I need power to make WinRar decompression, and processing data with QuickPar!

Between 2, there is not really hesitate, what you required is Q6600. The TriCore AMD is slightly lower than the Phenom X4 (logic), itself 2 tons below its Intel counterpart.

Intel or AMD, it depends on the owner. If you want absolute preference today then an intel cpu that you need.

Personal I am very fond of AMD but objectively when choosing is Q6600 that you take.

Well I too am more AMD and Intel, so why not a Phenom X4 9850 Black Edition, we are in the same category ? Even power ? AMD a bit more expensive, but not so much a problem
