Doing a task of overclocking these memories. Stabilized at 1000Mhz with only 2.2v in gigabyte EP43 DS3L.
This voltage is safe for those memories? I know that the review of the memories overclock to was at 550 with them to 2.1v. But here this motherboard will not in any way. I have made everything in the auto, upgraded the bios, and everything.
In the test, they are refreshing ... the sensor of everest mark 2.21v.
Dude, I think the standard of GBPQ voltage is between 1.8 and 1.9v.Better put a cooler on top of those memories. I have a pair of GBPK DDR 2 800 and I got it in 1000, with 2.2v, but it is the standard voltage between 2.0 and 2.1v
Also have a pair of AxeRAM Transcend DDR2 800 forming 1200 with 2.35v, but only with cooler on top. Voltage standard equal to GBPQ.
Oh, try DDR2 800 with 4-4-4-12 and 2.0v to see it roll ... perhaps a better performance, but only testing it out!
The pattern is 1.8 - 1.9. I will try today 4 that the CAS should give a higher performance and lower the voltage. Grateful for the help.
