Hello to all I have to order parts of my future PC few days ago and took 2 2Gb ram, I intend to run under Vista Ultimate 32 and my question is simple how can I enjoy the 4GB under Vista 32 and if I can not really is it really painful to use Vista 64? level software or games is like?
Finally tell me
Thank you in advance
Re: 4GB ram under Vista 32-bit
hello, 32 bits = 3max 3GB. For more you have to go on a 64-bit to move to 32bits system can handle 4GB of RAM and always will be limited to use 3.25 GB.
Re: 4GB ram under Vista 32-bit
Unless you have a particular purpose and specific to your 3.25Gb, the memory used by a Vista 32bit you are already widely enough. Otherwise there is actually no alternative but to move to 64bit.
And so-incidentally now Vista 64bit wall is enough to be used daily (except if you have very old gear to turn a rare soft or totally incompatible)
Re: 4GB ram under Vista 32-bit
Hello, I have vista 32 and 4GB which are recognized without problems vista .
Re: 4GB ram under Vista 32-bit
Recognized but not used
The system lets you do that 3.25Gb (average) of usable. It's like that and not otherwise for Windows 32bit.
