Windows installation Problem
Hello friends
I have to format my pc (lenovo 3000K series) which was running Windows Vista and replace it with XP Pro with whom I have the most usual. I got 1 problem with the first appearance of a blue screen with error message of saying that there may be 1 virus or that SD was poorly configured and not completed. I have solved that problem by disabling the SATA in the BIOS. Thereafter, normal after formatting to NTFS at the time of install Windows XP, I have 1 new message: Error reading cd. Whenever we must restart and it comes tjr on the same page. What should I do to solve the problem please?
Re: Windows installation Problem
Your CD of Windows may be damaged or needs to be cleaned. Try another CD of Windows XP if you have taken the precaution of making a backup.
Re: Windows installation Problem
CD installation of Windows XP may very well partition and reformat a hard drive or Vista is installed even if the disk is a SATA disk if we rule in the bios detection compatible with SATA IDE or if there SATA drivers adequate.
