Reset CMOS password requires reset bios?

Hello everyone,
I have a laptop Compaq Presario 2100 and a few hours ago I own a combined fine mess ..
Specifically I was trying to remove the password bios and now I can not to enter the PC.
It seems that the password rather than eliminated has been changed, since the calls me again and what I used previously does not go over well ..
The real trouble is that now I do not know exactly where to put their hands ..
Now I ask you if you reset the CMOS password reset also possible ..

REMOVING BIOS PASSWORD

First you can go ahead and unplug the cmos battery and replug it after few seconds. This will erase the BIOS password.
