How to change the size of Borders of windows in Windows Vista ? Well Here the Answer
The edges of window in Vista are nice and transparent (if you have of course activated Aero), but they also may be too broad or not enough to taste. You want to refine or expand them? You can, without installing additional software or having to edit the registry or do anything scary.
Here's how:
- Right click on an empty Windows (Desktop)
- Select Customize (personalize)
- Click Color and appearance of windows
- When Aero is turned on, click Open classic appearance properties for additional color options
- Click the Advanced button ...
- In the drop-down list entitled "Elements", select Filling borders
- Change the default size (4) to a small number (eg 1 or 2). You can also opt for wider edge, if you wish, by changing the size by a value greater than 4
- Finally, click OK to close each dialog box and Enjoy the result
