8600GT OC vs 8800GTS VS 9800GT
I intend to change my Twintech NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT OC for NVIDIA 9800GT. My question is whether this is really a 9800GT or the card is just a disguise of 8800GTS in 9800GT. I have a screen 22 inches and having finished Crysis mode window in 1280 by 1024. But I intend to play full screen with graphics to "High" and that the game is played correctly. The 9800GTX, is it a good investment?

A 9800GT is a 8800GTS makeup. I personally recommend you to buy a HD4850. The HD4850 is really known for its quality/price. If you want NVIDIA, then go for 9800GTX.

The problem of 9800GTX card is that it may not return to my box. Otherwise, the HD4850 can be a good compromise.
Re: 8600GT OC vs 8800GTS VS 9800GT
ASUS has recently released new models:
- The EN9800GT TOP/HTDP/512M
- The EN9800GT ULTIMATE/HTDP/512M
Re: 8600GT OC vs 8800GTS VS 9800GT
If you compare an Asus Ultimate 9800 GT and HD 4850, there is no comparisons. Asus card is expensive than 4850. It is expected that it is more powerful. Looking at the benchmark, in 1600 x 1200 resolution under Crysis, the card made three fps better. Certainly it is far more better. And if you look under the other games, the difference is even more ridiculous.
