PC display after reinstallation WinXP
I expose my PC quickly (humm. ..):
I had to reinstall WinXP on a partition other than the one on which he was previously installed. Obviously this gives me a lot of sweat!
One of the first things was to put the resolution of my screen as before (LCD 19 "ACER) ==> reposition in 12xx/1024 or something. OK. But when I move a window or scrolling, it put a lead to upgrade. Hello taking head! I decided to update the driver for my graphics card (Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT). It happens that I had on my DD the last driver recently installed pb for incompatibility with some games (nickel plant at the time). reinstalls and I continued on the next startup, is that I find myself with a 800x600 screen and 4 colors!
According to the manager device, the graphics card is up to date ... Av you is that do I do? What what device driver is not up to date?
I watched the side screens, but in principle there is no specific driver over outside a Microsoft seems to date ...
Can someone have any idea ...
Thanks

Re: PC display after reinstallation WinXP
Tried but it does not work better.
First I did (from the installation CD) before installing the Update Driver of the graphics card and installing it in him that I had the problem. I just try to update the chipset driver (nVidia nForce2) on the internet and it has not arranged my business graphics ...
Another idea?
I might install software that identifies updated drivers or not ... But I'm not sure it helps a lot ..
