Error Code 57 when updating Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007

In recent days, the security update for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 does not get installed and I get the message "Code 57: Windows Update has encountered an unknown error."

Therefore, at each stop of the system, the icon updates appears on the stop button and try installing this update, in vain.

With or without antivirus, it does not updates and get the same error message.

Can you help me to fix this bug.

Are you trying to make this update via Windows Update? In Windows update, see this upgrades, right click on this update, and then hide it!

Tried that already but still the same problem. I would be happy if someone could activate my system from this failure.

Reinstall the operating system, or try to do system repair or system restore to a previous point. Hope that will solve your issue.
