My machine is vista and badly i didnt find the option IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service in it. It contain COM+ Event System and COM + System Application...and the first 1 is automatic and 2nd is manual. and i cant find an option tht u have mentioned in the recording tab too..sorry
It's hard to tell at this point. First, please post back with some info about your computer hardware. Do you have any other similar programs like EMC installed? Check in System Properties/Device Manager and make sure your drive is shown without a yellow mark next to it. It is advisable to update the firmware for your burner.Quote:

There could be issue like your data cable are not connected driver to MB and so therefore I would like to suggest you make sure all this and after that let me know the issue. I would also suggest you to make sure that you’re burning to the CD/DVD RW and not to an image on your HD. If this also doesn’t helps you then I would like to suggest you to make use of some other software like InfraRecorder etc and after that go through your issue on new burner software.
