Whenever I am trying to download the DirectX 9.0c then I am getting some kind of error message while I am running it, that states "Directx Setup, setup could not download the file, Please try later". Can anyone tell me why am I getting this error message? Thanks for any help.
Have you tried to download the Directx 9.0c Redistributable directly from the microsoft website from here - http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...010_redist.exe
Could you please tell us which release of what operating system you are running on your computer? Also, do you have any graphics card installed in your pc, if so then what is its make or model number?
You should first of all try to check for sure that the antivirus or firewall program that you are running on your computer is not preventing you from downloading the directx file, if it is doing it, then try to disable those program while downloading the directx file. After that you can also try to update the DirectX version using the Web installer from here - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/e...1-50ceb6d8fa8d
