Need to delete files waiting to be burned.
Hello,
I was in the middle of burning files to a DVD when my computer locked up.
Now whenever I reboot my computer, I get a balloon that reads, "You have
files waiting to be burned to a disc."
When I click on the balloon, Windows Explorer opens up. It shows that I
have a file in the DVD RW Drive (E:). I cannot burn or delete this file.
How do I remove this?
Thanks,
Amanda
Re: Need to delete files waiting to be burned.
right click the CD / DVD RW drive in Windows Exploder or in a My Computer
window
select properties from the popup context menu
select the recording tab
clear the check box "Enable CD recording on this drive"
Delete the links and re-enable recording.
Re: Need to delete files waiting to be burned.
Hi Mark,
I don't have that check box. The only check box I have in the recording tab
is "Automatically eject the disc after a Mastered burn."

Hello Amanda,
While the tutorial is for Windows 7, it also applies to Vista for
stopping this message balloon.
'You have files waiting to be burned to disc - Stop Message - Windows
7 Forums'

Re: Need to delete files waiting to be burned.
That did it!
Thanks,
Amanda
