Attaching and using an Apple keyboard with Windows XP or Windows Vista

Here's a tip for you to connect, operate and use an Apple keyboard with your computer operating system Windows XP or Windows Vista.

Two approaches are possible:

1. Install BootCamp 1.4 beta
2. Mapping the keyboard

Install BootCamp 1.4 beta
The simplest, just on Windows, is to download and install BootCamp version 1.4 beta. The latter allows to use the Apple keyboard but there is still some bugs, the Apple keyboard is not quite correctly emulated.

Mapping the keyboard
The mapping of the keyboard can be done using Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator.

It is possible to map keyboard from scratch but the Apple keyboard option is already available, so it remains only to tune.
