Re: Redefining the size of a partition without losing data
Early when we wanted to redefine the size of a partition in Windows, it was imperative to use specialized software.Today this feature is built in into Vista:
- Click the right mouse button on My Computer in the Start menu.
- In the context menu, select Manage.
- In the tree left, deploy "Storage" and click Disk Management.
- Click the right button on the partition in question and choose the option to extend the volume or reduce the volume.
- Follow the directions in the wizard step by step.
Good luck.
