The programs are not active in the taskbar
Preamble
On Windows, there are windows that appear more active in the taskbar.
The programs themselves are active, but they are not displayed.
For example, to switch from one program to another (Alt + Tab or Task Manager).
How do these windows reappear?

- These manipulations are presented in increasing order of difficulty.
- The first use of software that will make changes to your site (recommended)
- The second: you do everything by hand (method but informative)

First method (simple)
- Download the software Taskbar Repair Tool Plus!
- Unzip the software (right click> Extract all)
- Open the folder and got double-click the executable file
- In the 'Taskbar, click Programs Missing Minimized
- Click Repair.

Method Two (more difficult)
Warning
It will require changing certain values in the registry.

Troubleshooting
- To resolve this problem, follow this method:
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to access the Task Manager.
- In the "Processes" tab, select the process explorer.exe
- Click End Process. Accept.
- Click on File> New Task
- In the Open box, type regedit and validate OK.
- Place the tree in the upper left by clicking on the + while following this path:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer
- Delete these keys (in italics):
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ StuckRects2
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ StreamMRU
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Streams \ Desktop
- Go now to this subkey, and delete the key in italics:
- HKCU \ Software \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Explorer Bars \ (32683183-48a0-441b-A342-7c2a440a9478) \ BarSize
- Now, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
- Check that none of these values does DWORD 1 as the value data
- NoBandCustomize
- NoMovingBands
- NoCloseDragDropBands
- NoSetTaskbar
- NoToolbarsOnTaskbar
- NoSaveSettings
- NoToolbarsOnTaskbar
- NoSetTaskbar
- NoActiveDesktop
- ClassicShell
- Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Group Policy Objects \ localuser \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer.
- Check a DWORD value named NoCloseDragDropBands equals 0.
- In the same tree, remove a DWORD value named NoMovingBands.
- Go now to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon
- Check that the value chain Shell does in the text box Value data as follows: explorer.exe
- It's over. Whew! Close the registry. Access the Task Manager and click File> New Task
- In the Open box, type explorer, and then validate OK.
