Do not display last user name in logon screen
I am Under Windows XP, i use the logon "classic" - without the home screen - a window request the seizure of the username and password. By default, the name of the last user of the computer is displayed and i have the password to enter.
for security reasons, i want this last name does not appear, just a small change in the registry ,, how can i do it thanks
Re: Do not display last user name in logon screen
- Open the Registry Editor.
- Go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ policies \ system
- On the right, locate the key dontdisplaylastusername.
- Right-click to edit and set its value to 1
- Restart the computer.
That way, if someone turns on your PC to log on, he must not only know the password but also the username.
