Avoid errors with Windows Media Player
Windows Media Player (WMP alias) can easily create compilations of music or audio CD format, either in the form of CD MP3/WMA files. By default, WMP adopt the burn speed allowed by your CD ... Which can lead to errors, especially if you use the machine to other tasks while creating the CD / DVD.
It is therefore prudent to force a rate slightly lower for a better result and avoid crashes:
- Start Windows Media Player.
- Deploy the submenu of the Burn button (clicking on the small arrow below).
- Select "More Options ..."
- Then, in the pop-up menu burning speed, select "Medium".
Enjoy!
