I have a graphics card Geforce 9500 GT. Once the driver installed, the resolution of my screen is of the 800X600 color quality and minimum (4bit) and I can not change the settings. I saw that there was in Control Panel, a panel nvidia that could help me change the display resolution but I can not open this panel.I hope to have been more clear.

you are on sp1! you must spend at least sp2 with dirextX9C ... uninstall the driver, put your day to xp then download the latest driver: and then installs it should work.
