Problem installing DirectX 9.0 latest release
Hello all, This Morning I saw new DirectX 9 was available on the internet site.So I downloaded one but when I did the installation ,I found this error" This version of directx is not compatible with the version of Windows currently installed". can anyone pls suggest me what is happening here?. and one confession my XP is Pirated is it the cause of this problem.

Your computer seem to be fine and And your pirated copy should not prevent the download or install of DirectX 9.

Make sure that your Cryptographic Services is set to Started and Automatic.
if not then enable it using following instruction
Go to START->>RUN and type "Services.msc" (without quotes) in the run blank.
Hit enter.
Look for Cryptographic Services.start it and then try installing DirectX.

I have check my Cryptographic Services. It is started and set to automatic and may running properly.
