Computer not booting up, help please!

My computer was working fine since yesterday and today i tried to start it agian but it started and came up with windows xp booting up screen and again restarted and since then message coming " device noy detected " its not dedecting any harddrive from my computer .

and even not showing any hard drive in the setup.

Please help me regarding that.

What is your computer specifications? Open up your case and see whether the cables to the hard drive are not removed.

check your power supply and data cable is working properly.
for that first check your EARTHING is proper ,then by just touching your hard disk you can understand that hard disk taking power or not.
