Black Screen
Hello everyone.
I recently purchased a motherboard Gigabyte EP45-DS5 and a graphics card Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT that I connected to the PCI Express x16 as specified in the installation guide.
My Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit displays, however, a black screen after the driver installation of the new graphics card via the DVD-ROM supplied by Gigabyte, or downloaded from the site of Nvidia, and recognized as "standard VGA graphics card" in several applications.
However, the program displays Everest PCI devices in Device ID 10de-0605 which corresponds to that of a GeForce 9800 GT.
Could you tell me more?
Thank you.

Re: Black Screen
The only thing I see right now is to check if your cards are embedded.
So if you used a video card before that was included with your card mattress I think we should turn it off by the bios.
These are hypotheses.

I thank you for your reply.
I'll check in the bios. The solution there may indeed.

Re: Black Screen
My motherboard does not actually onboard graphics card.
I also noticed that after installing the drivers and the graphics card before accepting the computer restarts ... and display a black screen, the "standard VGA graphics card" exchange "Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT" in the Device Manager.
What do you think?
