I have ASUS P4P800E Deluxe motherboard. I have problem with the sleep mode option with this board on my computer. I have latest bios installed. Whenever I select sleep, the screen goes off but I can see the power button ON and the fans still working. Am I missing something? Do anyone have any solutions?
Try to do a system restore to a point before this started.
Update all of your drivers including your graphics card, sound card (if any). Also check your Event Viewer log for any errors.
Change the BIOS settings to use aggressive S1 power state instead of S3, so that more devices are disabled and maximum power is conserved.
