Toshiba TLP-X200U: First Talking Projector
Toshiba unveiled today the lightweight TLP-X200U wireless 3LCD projector, the world’s first projector with voice guidance.
Voice Guidance feature provides ease of use, preventative maintenance updates and a lower total cost of ownership. The voice guidance system in the TLP-X200U directs users with an audible message through the projector’s operating instructions and system warnings, such as the on/off status, lamp life, air filter checks and cooling fan status.
The slim TLP-X200U network compatible projector also incorporates closed captioning, a unique multiscreen function for large venue use.
The Toshiba TLP-X200U features 3LCD technology, 3,000 ANSI lumens, XGA (1024x768) native resolution, a 600:1 contrast ratio and a built-in blackboard function with wall color adjustment.
At only 4.4 pounds, the projector also features Windows Vista compatibility and is aimed at mobile professionals, teachers, corporate customers, small-to-medium businesses and consumers for digital home entertainment.
Convenient Voice Guidance
The TLP-X200U is the world’s first projector that guides you through operating instructions, and provides you with system alerts, using voice technology. Ideal for non-technical people, this Toshiba innovation makes running and maintaining the machine so much easier. It just doesn’t get more convenient than this.
Closed Captioning
You’ve seen it in movies and on TV. Now bring it to your living room or conference room. Closed caption capabilities on the TLP-X200U are ideal for those who may be hard of hearing, learning a new language, just beginning to read, watching in a noisy environment, and so on. You’ll be amazed at how many different uses you’ll find for this feature.
Wireless + Wired Networking
Along with its other conveniences―like auto set-up, quick power shutdown and a USB port for “PC-free” shows, this projector also makes it easier to get started or change presenters thanks to onboard wireless. Plus, its networking capabilities keep user intervention down by letting IT monitor the machine remotely. Uncabled and undistracted, you’ll be unbelievably more effective.
