I am having a weird problem and I am totally frustrated now.
Every now and then, I am unable to access Google. Neither Gmail, Orkut nor Google search or any other service of Google. I can't see anything that would cause this. Can anybody help me in solving this problem?
Your computer is infected by VBS QHOST virus. This virus causes the problem of not being able to access Google, or any search engine.
Go to Windows\...\etc\HOSTS file and look for any entry related to 'Google'.
Check if it is blocking or re-directing the access. Also clear your 'Temp' and 'cached' files on your browser.
You can even try ipconfig /flushdns on command prompt and then reboot it.
Turn of your modem and router for like 10 seconds and reconnect. It will recover automatically.
