Importing outlook file to Thunderbird?
Hello Everybody previously i was the regular user of outlook but now i have switch to thunderbird although i am getting my new mails regularly but i also want to read and forward some of my old mail. so Is there any way I can import my Outlook PST files to Thunder bird? All I really need is my old email. Calendar info is not significant. If this cannot be done in thunderbird does anyone know of another program I can import to?
Thanks

Did you Try Clicking on Tools, Import, Mail, Outlook?
Re: Importing outlook file to Thunderbird?
Actually I haven't even installed Firebird yet. My problem is that I have to PST files and only want to import one of them (it is not actually loaded into Outlook if that makes any difference). Can I direct Firebird to import from a particular PST file but not from the other one?
Re: Importing outlook file to Thunderbird?
Why not simply moving the "unwanted" pst-file to a folder where Thunderbird won't find it while importing? After importing the other file just move it back.

Re: Importing outlook file to Thunderbird?
If Thunderbird isn't already installed on your Windows desktop, download the latest version from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird and install it.
To import Microsoft Outlook, PST Import is a must-have Thunderbird extension.
Do this:
- Go to Tools > Import
- Now you can select what you want to import (address book, emails, settings). If you want to import more than just one type of material, run the import wizard as often as you need.
- Next, select Outlook Express:
- Your data will then be imported into Thunderbird.
I hope this helps.
Re: Importing outlook file to Thunderbird?
The posted link "PST Import" takes me to the download for Linux. I'm using Thunderbird on Windows 7. Could you please post the link and/or instructions to achieve importing of old Outlook PST files into T'bird on Win 7. Thanks
