Initially everything worked, but at about 80% progress (no indication exists, only estimates) will hang the program. If you click "Close" then it gives message "This is the defragmentation process is ended. Continue?"When followed by clicking on "Yes" nothing happens. The program stays on.
You mean when you do defragment, it remains hanged?
Possibly. ! a hard disk error! Chkdsk run times!
Start -> Run -> cmd
When then prompt the following:
chkdsk C: / R / R
With "j" confirm and restart. Test takes a bit now but, as each sector is being examined!
