TSST corp DVD +RW ts H653B SCSI CDROM Device

I am using Windows Vista with TSSTcorp CDDVDW ts H653B SCSI CDROM Device for transferring data on CDs. Everything was working fine don’t know what went wrong suddenly I started getting an error message saying “this is not lined up right” every time I use this device. As I don’t have any idea what should be done to fix this can anyone you please tell me how can I check if the is running up to max?
