Scripts not running in crontab

hello everybody,,,
i want to execute shell script every 30 minute
through crontab .....
is this possible...???

yes...my crond is running..

check if you have received any internal system mails. You will usually receive them if your cron fails..

Also if your script uses some of the commands then you need to use the complete path of the executable and not just the command name as the environment variables are not loaded

check whether /home/myscript.sh has execute permission. If it will not have execute permission it might create problem as you mentioned
