Gateway introduced a new laptop MC7803u to its list.
Its features include 16-inches screen, Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 2GHz processor, 4GB DDR2 memory, 320GB of hard drive, an ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 graphics card with 512MB of memory, 802.11a/b/g/n Gigabit Ethernet, an HDMI port, 4 USB ports, and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. It comes with Windows Vista Home Premium installed on it. It weights around 7.1 pounds and has the dimensions of 1.5 x 15.3 x 10.4 inches.
The device does not include any optical drives and will be on sale from November 1st with a price tag of $999.99.

Other new models in the line feature processing technology from Intel.
The premium design of the new MC-Series is as impressive as its capabilities. Available in two colors, burgundy and black, the new notebook line features a streamlined design that blends materials and edges for a cohesive look and feel. Customers will first notice the cover’s distinctive synthetic leather branding stripe flanked by silver accents and Gateway logo embossed in zinc alloy metal. Upon opening the notebook, the dramatic edge-to-edge glass display and seamless transitions between materials and design elements provide a luxurious aesthetic. The elegant burgundy model has a deep, rich finish, a brushed metal palm rest and a black polished keyboard surround. The Gateway MC-Series is ready for entertainment at any time and in a range of lighting conditions. The ambient light sensor adjusts the brightness according to the external light, so customers always have an excellent viewing experience. The new Gateway MC7803u adds to the robust configuration of the MC7801u but features ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 graphics with 512MB dedicated memory for an enhanced gaming and video experience. It’s available in black at an MSRP of $999.99.
New MC-Series models will be available this month at leading electronics retailers.
Both of these models come with the powerful Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit Edition with SP1. They also come loaded with Microsoft Works 9.0 as well as a 60-day trial of Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007.
