Mobile firewall is Necessary

I heared that some spams or viruses can also damage the mobile phone memory or an integral part, so wheter mobile firewalls are necessary and where should i get it?

A mobile firewall is a hardware and software system that is designed to protect wireless communication networks from unauthorized access and use.
