HELP! How to download pictures from CD
I have picture CD's made from other stores (Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, etc.) that
I want to download directly into My Pictures file. How do I do it? When I
insert the CD it wants me to download the store's software, but I want to go
directly to My Pictures in My Documents???...or to another photo software
already installed on my computer

Go into "My Computer", find the disc, and then open or "explore" it.
Re: HELP! How to download pictures from CD
There are lots of books for folks like you.
"Computers for Dummies" comes to mind.
Check it out.

Put in the CD...
Close whatever auto-opens...
Open "My Computer"...
Right-click on the CD drive in the listing...
Choose "Explore"...
Browse the CD looking for the directory that likely contains all the image
files...
Copy them where ever you want - manually...

Nobody's fooled by your impersonation of me, Murphy. Now you're coming
after me, because I called you out for your bigotry.
