There are 2 programs that added a shortcut to the right click context menu. I want to remove this shortcuts. On the other pc, the search command was added to the top of the context menu list. I want to reorder that to its original place. I tried to use the Tweaks power tool, but it will not load. Can anyone tell me any other way how to do that? Thanks.
You can get a tool called ContextEdit which is program that allows you to edit and modify the menus that appear in the context menu in Windows Explorer. ContextEdit will easily allow controlling the elements that appear in the context menu - the menu that appears when you right-click an item in Windows Explorer. The context menu often contains numerous commands as well.
You can try to remove any one of the keys from the below ones:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder]
For instance, to remove the commands for Winrar you will need to delete the below key:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\WinRAR]
