Apple's new MacBook October 14
Apple has confirmed that a press conference would be held next October 14 in order to introduce new laptops. For now, there is no reason to know that the MacBook and MacBook Pro, will be affected, but an appointment is made by that date. The invitation, more laconic, merely to indicate "The spotlight turns to notebooks" or "The spotlight will now turn to laptops."
Wall Street analysts and gadget blogs have speculated that Apple could cut the prices of its cheapest notebook computer to below $1,000, or it could refresh the line with laptops in aluminum casings.
It would be stronger, lighter and more attractive, since the lines of contact between the different elements disappear.
Last but not least, has surfaced since the end of September the idea that the future could abandon MacBook Intel chipsets to a signed nVidia chip. This would be after rumors of MCP7A-U, a chipset with integrated graphics controller of the family of GeForce 9 Mobile. Compatible DDR2 and DDR3, the controller would relieving material flows high-definition video, and provide interesting performance in terms of 3D, without of course dethrone dedicated graphics card.
