Your question is a question that we encounter in forums often for graphic, I'll give you my idea of the thing:
Blender and other 3D software as C4D or others are quite comparable to the extent that you can achieve the same thing in terms of quality of work, according to your level and your motivation. About Me, I use Blender and C4D.
Already, the first thing is the price of the software if you want C4D, in theory you have to pay for it, while Blender is free.
The second thing that will go into account, this is your relationship with regard to the interface and with tools you can prefer either!
Then you have to think that Blender is still very extensible with scripts or renderers also free, and you can always have the latest version of Blender you dont have to worry about without a cost update possible Contrary to C4D.
My perception of things is that you should try both, but begin to learn with Blender 3D, and thereafter see if you prefer to migrate to a shareware software for reasons that you do on your own when you will have acquired a certain level!
Was that just a BigTuto to blender and this is the case for C4D.
I have an old PC so I must choose the Blender Or c4d?
if you have low resources, select Blender, which is much less greedy!
