I am using comcast and windows mail. I have Mcafee Antivirus installed on my system. I never such kind of weird problem before, even I am getting a pop up asking to compact windows mail message. When I am deleting 110 forward message, things are working better. I am not sure what is happening all of sudden can you please help me ?
Re: 0x800CCC90, Error Number:0x800CCC91 able to send and receive some
Please follow the below steps.
Goto Tools, Accounts.
Select Mail Account Click Properties, Server. Now please uncheck the box "Log on using Secure Password Authentication." If this box is already unchecked, I think its problem with your Antivirus. Please check Mcafee is not configured to scan your incoming and outgoing emails.
The prompt to allow compaction to proceed will occur every 100 program closings. It is not based on anything else.

Sypkar,
Thanks for your suggestion, I have unchecked the logon using secure. Even I have unchecked the scanning of my incoming and outgoing mail message in mcafee. But still I am getting a pop up box with the same error message. Even its showing the server name and account name is NULL. I am not sure why its showing there. Even I tried rebooting as well but no luck.
Re: 0x800CCC90, Error Number:0x800CCC91 able to send and receive s
Well its mainly because of your mcafee antivirus its still interfering with your windows mail. Mcafee Antivirus creates lots of troubles for windows mail. I would suggest you to uninstall your Mcafee antivirus, you can use debris removal tool. http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocumen...107083&lc=1033.
If you are planning to replace your mcafee antivirus, so I can suggest some more better antivirus program which is more compatible with your windows mail.
