Office 2007 and Medialess License Kit
I self assembled a new computer and bought a Medialess License Kit. Now as my system is ready I wanted to install Office 2007 but I would like confirm whether I can simply download Office 2007 Trail and activate it with the Medialess License Kit I have already? I think I can because I have read somewhere the following statement of Microsoft:
“At the end of the 60 days, a customer can return to you and purchase the MLK, which will convert the trial to a full version.”
Any advice please?
Re: Office 2007 and Medialess License Kit
If you already own a Medialess License Kit, then instead of download Trial I would suggest you to search for any legitimate site that sells OEM version of Office suite. There are many but it may depend on your location.
Re: Office 2007 and Medialess License Kit
Nope, you wont be able to use your MLK kit with any trial version because it is a different license than the conversion license for the trial software. It is used with the OEM products where manufacturer installs their copy of the software, The OPK installation acts as a trial until the trial expires. Again, it is a different version than the trial that is downloaded from Microsoft's web site. So as per my experience, in case you don't have the OPK disk, the MLK license is completely useless.

Thanks guys,. That is the answer I was waiting for. You've made up my mind and I'd better rearrange my computer building.
