Blog is short for Web Log. It is an on-going interactive journal of nearly any topic. Blogs are frequently updated and provide an excellent medium between the author and the reader. It has become very popular among the young people who refer to it as "blogging". Blogs are used for a variety of subjects such as; personal online diary, food recipes, news commentary or political discussions.
