Hi i am using MSI motherboard which has ddr1 ram slot.currently my pc is running slowly.i am using 256MB ddr1 ram,i want to extend it to 1gb. but i think it will cost me more as compare to ddr2.should i change my motherboard and ram ? how much it will cost ? please reply to my problem.
ddr 1 is history now don't go for this it,1gb ddr1 will cost you around 1850rs.On the other hand you can get 2gb ddr2 ram at a price of 1700rs.You can enjoy double speed.
You have not mention your budget,Still i have got some suggestion for you.
Replace your current motherboard with 945gigabyte motherboard this will cost you 2250rs you can fix ddr2 ram on it.The 1gb ram will cost you 850rs.it total cost would be 3100rs.you can get at least 500rs for the older one.so over all it will cost you 2600 plus a 2 years of warranty on both ram and motherboard.
