Hi,
i have a flash drive & when i connect it o my laptop it works fine for the first time but the exact thing i want to use again it asks me to install driver for the device I don't know why i need to download the USB driver from the laptop manufacturer? I have windows XP install & i think USB drive must work as a plug & play. Any Idea?
You are right you don't need to download USB drivers in windows XP.
Is it just asking for the device driver only or you get any error message too?
Yes further after downloading the driver, installing & all I get a message saying the data is invalid! I don't understand the same data was valid for the first time & now its invalid!
Is there any virus in my system?
Well it may be possible that any virus is there. I would suggest you to scan your system with a better antivirus! Se if the problem is still there!
