Commenting on the launch, Mr. Mahesh Sheka, Managing Director of Dial a Job stated: “Pune, is one of the most important hubs of cutting edge technologies in the world. It is the 3rd most preferred destination for global IT players in India and is at the hot bed of activity now. Most global players now specifically come to India looking out for Pune as they used to do some years ago for Bangalore. After having opened up offices Mumbai , Bengaluru and Hyderabad , Pune was a natural choice to fuel Dialajob’s growth”.
With the recruitment industry in India projected to grow at 25% annually. Demand for quality human capital is originating from newer industries like healthcare, education, food based industries, retail, realty, investment banking, transportation, pharmaceutical, or any of the other related professions. To address this growing need Dialajob is targeting jobs and candidates across all segments as Dial job’s convenience factor would work well for all job-seekers.
Explaining the convenience factor in the business model, Mr Murali Manohar, Director – Sales & Marketing, says that Dialajob’s call centres would help candidates prepare their resumes/profiles. After a job matching with the postings that the company has to offer, the candidate would be asked permission to send his/her resume to the company. On acceptance of the resume, the candidate receives a confirmation via SMS. The candidate can also check on the job description suggested by the company. On mutual approval, the interview would be set up. “Each step would be pre-approved by the candidate and would be confidential because it would be through SMS,” says Mr Murali.
Dialajob’s call centres are receiving about 2,000 calls a day with 23 per cent coming from referrals. They soon plan to localise the services through regional language call centres. Diala job is also looking to extend its services to Tier II & Tier III cities by next year.
