Apple develops its own ARM Processors
Last April, Apple had bought the maker of microchips PA Semiconductor for the sum of $ 300 million. Since then, several rumors have circulated on the Internet about an ARM processor manufactured by Apple for its own mobile devices.
This rumor was partly confirmed last June 10 when the New York Times published an interview with Steve Jobs in which the CEO of Apple confessed regret "how the industry is capable of adding more and more power, then nobody knows how to program these processors [...] PA Semi will develop an on-board system for future iPods and iPhones.
